Finbar McBride, a taciturn dwarf (Peter Dinklage), inherits an abandoned train depot in New Jersey. Since he loves trains, he is happy there by himself, but fate has other plans. He becomes good friends with two lonely people, played by Patricia Clarkson and Bobby Cannavale.
Their unlikely friendship fills a need, and their loneliness vanishes.
